Filter Shift arrives at a time of deep division in our country. What a timely book for those of us who seek the tools to understand the mindset of others as well as our own. Can we work toward eradicating division and embrace diversity?

Filter Shift helped me to be aware of my own “filters” that stand in the way of achieving that goal, to see differences without a good/bad judgement. We are all biased. If we can see that we can move away from blame and shame.

To quote Filter Shift “It is not about being right, good or professional, but about being more effective.”

And therefore I would add, more thoughtful and understanding as we form our opinions and interact with others in our lives.
